Glam is the main character. Her amnesia is so bad she can't remember her name let alone what happened to the world and she's not afraid to kick demonic ass in very little clothing and pleaser shoe high heels to die for.
Her trusty sidearm/sidekick is her gun Blam. Between them they attempt to rid London, and later the world, of the mecha-demons, called 6Eyes, hell bent on enslaving mankind.
The answer to the question still remains: Why is she dressed like that?

Although at its core, the story is about a scantily-clad babe, wielding a sword and a big gun, and killing alien creatures, aspects that I would normally enjoy, this comic disappointed me. Richard A Morgan is both the artist and writer. He has a sort of smudgy or blurry approach to his drawings that make details hard to see. Combined with sparse writing that doesn't elaborate much on the situation, it makes it difficult to find an anchoring point from which to enjoy the story. I prefer cleaner lines that enable me to see the details and appreciate the setting, even when the story is not that strong. However, when both of those are, in my view, sub-par, it makes for a rather messy product. I gave it a 3 for the effort and for its potential. It's just not for me. I won't follow up on Blam & Glam.
